Above you see the tide leaving Conary Cove last week. It reached dead low one hour and 43 minutes after this image was taken; then, it slowly rose to an impressive 10.5 high tide, according to the Blue Hill Bay charts. At many high tides, the Cove’s granite ledges virtually disappear, and, from some perspectives, the iconic red boat house looks like it is floating.
