As I write this, it’s raining, there are significant nor’eastern wind gusts, and we’ve lost electrical power. But, our generator is working fine and the temperature has been warm.
When the above image of silver grass was taken in the rain earlier this morning, it was 50 degrees (F), the recorded gusts were between 44 and 50 miles per hour, and the trees were swaying. This image of switchback grass was taken at the same time:
