We’ve been having powerful rainstorms lately, but yesterday’s report of the U.S. Drought Monitor for Maine shows our Down East coast and parts of western Maine to be still “Abnormally Dry.” The hope is that additional rain will come and prevent us from slipping into the next stage, “Moderate Drought,” or worse in summer.
